Pauline Busson

Pauline Busson is the founder of the Peace Within Project.

Raised in Finland, Brazil, Nigeria, France and Japan Pauline holds two Masters in international law and in international humanitarian aid.

Filled with the passion to make a change, she has been working for a decade as a humanitarian aid worker, mostly in war zones. She has worked twice in the Palestinian Territories (West Bank and Gaza).

Wherever she was sent Pauline would bring her yoga mat along; practicing sun salutations in Darfur or meditation in DR Congo helped her keep her balance. After 13 years of practice Pauline became a certified yoga teacher (Sivananda 200 hour Teachers Training, India), later adding a certification in yoga for children with Little Flower Yoga.

In addition to teaching regularly in the Sivananda ashram in New York State, Pauline is currently organizing the first yoga teachers training in a correctional facility in the US. Her aspiration is to share yoga with populations living under particularly difficult circumstances leading them to discover the unlimited resources lying within and improving greatly their everyday life.
